To mark the Handloom Day, the Delhi Crafts Council is hosting a virtual event during which the Vastra Shilpi Samman will be presented to Hemant Kumar Singh for excellence in the “Bandha” technique required for making an ikat.

This will be accompanied by a talk on ikat textiles from Odisha by Pankaja Sethi, Textile Designer & Researcher.
